Neck liposuction is a minimally invasive procedure that removes excess fatty tissue in the neck and chin regions. Oftentimes the fullness in these areas is a genetic accumulation of fat, and diet and exercise will not be able to properly target that area.

During your one-on-one consultation, the surgeon will listen to your concerns and develop a fully customized treatment plan to help you achieve your aesthetic goals. We believe in tailoring each surgery to the needs of the patient, and never want you to have more surgery than is necessary for the most natural-looking results.
Procedure
During the liposuction procedure, subcentimeter discrete incisions are made close to the treatment area, usually in the midline underneath the chin and where the earlobe attaches to the face. A thin, hollow tube called a cannula will be inserted into the treatment area through the incision and a gentle vacuum-powered suction will remove unwanted fat. Liposuction can either be done alone or in conjunction with other facial rejuvenation procedures.
Recovery
Following your neck liposuction procedure, you may experience mild swelling, bruising and tenderness in the treated area. This is normal and typically diminishes within a week. A compression dressing will be worn for the first week. Most patients return to their normal daily activities 7-10 days following treatment. While limited results are visible immediately following surgery, the final results will gradually emerge during the next several weeks once all the swelling subsides.
