For this personalized dermal filler treatment, we use hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance within the body, to restore lost volume, fill out wrinkles and smooth complexion on your eyes, lips, chin or cheeks for instantly plump, hydrated skin. Treatment takes approximately 45 minutes. Bruising and tenderness may occur at the injection site for a few days after treatment, but no significant downtime is needed. Results are immediate and typically last 4-6 months or longer. Includes Restylane, Versa and RHA products.

When can I expect to see results?
Immediately and up to 4-6 months or longer.
Is there any downtime?
No significant downtime. Bruising and tenderness may occur at the treated areas for a few days after treatment.
What does the treatment feel like?
Using topical numbing and a vibrational tool, we ensure every filler procedure is comfortable for our patients.
How frequently should I get this service?
Everyone metabolizes dermal fillers differently. Due to the different compositions of dermal fillers, most fillers last about 4-6 months. Many patients undergo Voluderm treatment twice a year.
- One week before treatment, avoid taking Aspirin and other blood thinning medications and supplements including Motrin, Ibuprofen, vitamin E, fish oil, ginkgo biloba, primrose oil, ginseng, garlic, and St. John’s Wort.
- 24 hours before your treatment, avoid excessive sun exposure and drinking alcohol.
- 48 hours before your treatment, it is recommended to begin taking an arnica supplement to help prevent bruising.
- Bruising and tenderness may occur at the injection site for a few days after treatment.
- Swelling may occur post-treatment. Please allow 2 weeks for it to fully subside.
- Apply a cold compress as needed.
- If you experience severe pain or changes in skin color immediately post-treatment, please contact the office at (516) 614-1880.
- Consider using our AIREM Essentials Chrysalis arnica blossom gel to apply on treated areas to decrease bruising.
