Having spent summers in South Korea growing up, I was introduced to the healing power of tea at a young age. Tea is commonly used in a vast number of ways across many different countries and cultures, from tea ceremonies within beautiful tea houses to food and beverage, beauty, medicine and even postpartum recovery.
Derived from the Korean words radiant (gwangjeom) + tea (cha), the GWANGCHA™ Radiant Tea Complex is a proprietary blend of tea peptides, including white lotus tea, green tea, peptides and botanicals.
I was inspired to develop the GWANGCHA™ Radiant Tea Complex on my trip to South Korea while filming a global wellness series produced by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions, Steeped in Tradition. In the Secret Garden of Changdeokgung palace there is a beautiful lotus pond. The lotus flower is a long held symbol of purity, resilience, enlightenment and strength across Asian cultures. It grows in murky and muddy waters to emerge at the surface and bloom.

WHITE LOTUS TEA HAS LONG BEEN REVERED FOR ITS HEALTH BENEFITS ACROSS ASIAN CULTURES, DATING BACK TO ANCIENT TIMES.
The large tea leaves are shredded then slowly oven-dried to preserve the elegant floral scent and taste. Many parts of the lotus flower have long been used in natural and herbal medicine to treat inflammation and healing of wounds.
